Paws for Bargains

Hundreds of bargain hunters "stormed" the Boone National Guard Armory Friday and Saturday to help the Watauga Humane Society's rummage sale.

The added video is a nice touch. Congrats to WHS for reaching their goal and for a successful sale! Those volunteers work so hard to get everything together, and Dee Dundon is a great leader. She's the best! I encourage everyone to consider making a small donation to WHS--even $5 or $10 would help. Or if you don't have much money, take a bag of pet food or cat litter by the shelter, or go by and just spend some time loving on the animals! You and the animals will be the better for it!! :-D
